Another Joao Bucket “event” has been checked off the list, and beautiful memories were made. Joao told me in February, ” One day…I will fish with my Father!” I am happy to report that he caught eight fish and did it with his daddy! God is so GREAT! Thank you to the Grow family for providing this amazing day and memories. We only have one more bucket list event that I will tell you about soon. It’s a big deal and a long time coming 🙂
The family has been here for one month already. So much has happened in just a month! We are so thankful for the progress. To recap, The family has a great place to live, taking English classes, being discipled, going to Church, learning American driving, and is using a car ( insured, and Father has an international driving license.) Each week is full of home therapy, school, and swimming in the pool.
We have been to the Zoo several times, visited Horses, gone shopping, had a 16th birthday party, gone fishing, and played and played! AND medical treatments have begun!! That feels GREAT! We are still seeking the advice of an immigration attorney.
A few of our greatest needs are food/gas cards and $450.00 per month for maintaining the family’s home and bills.
